Camembert, the Iconic French cheese made from cow’s milk and heralding from Normandy. Incorporated into our sausages, it produces a creamy texture. The Camembert flavor is subtle but lingers on the palate, even when the sausage is finished. This sausage is an ideal companion to glass or red/white wine or a glass of ruby port. Our Camembert sausage is 1 of the 6 varieties of sausage containing cheese in our selection. Composition of Camembert sausage
Our Camembert sausage has a strong cheesy flavor. This flavouris particularly prevalent in the aftertaste.These sausages have a long, lingering aftertaste which makes them very special. As with all our sausages, the outside can also be consumed. The outside layer is made of pork intestine. Completely natural and edible. The sausages weigh between 160 grams and 180 grams.
What is the ideal moment to eat these sausages?
The sausages can be eaten at many moments throughout the day, breakfast, brunch or lunch. We think they really come into their own when having a drink at the end of the day. Perfect with a glass of wine and some olives or some cheese on the side. The sausages are not just for every day consumption but are popular as a small gift to family, friends or clients.
Allergies
All our sausages are 100% gluten free with the exception of our fried onion sausages. The sausages are not lactose free and all are sausages can contain traces of nuts.
How long will the sausages remainedible?
The sausages are edible for a minimum of 2 months. They are best kept out of the fridge in a dark, dry place. You could hang-up the sausages in your kitchen, pantry or cellar, check out our hanging display system. When sliced, the sausages remain good for 4 to 6 weeks.
