The dry sausage with Le 1924. This sausage contains no less than 8% cheese. This is more than double the amount of cheese normally contained in a sausage. The flavour of this blue cheese, Le 1924, is very strong. People who like spicy blue cheese cannot ignore it!
The sausages weigh about 400 grams each. This is more than double the weight of a normal sausage. This ensures that the sausage remains creamy for a long time and you can enjoy it for a long time. Background information on the dry sausage Le 1924
The history of cheese and charcuterie goes way back, when whey (the residual product of cheese making) was used as feed for our friends, the pigs. Dairy farms and pigsties were often located in the same municipality, so this whey could be nobly recycled.
Through these collaborations, the products of both companies were often sold under the same roof. It was only a matter of time before these products would be combined.
Now, almost 150 years of experience later, our own producer ‘Maison Chillet’ and cheese producer and refiner ‘Maison Mons’ are joining forces again with three fantastic products. The processing of these first-class cheeses has produced an amazing result that makes your mouth water.
The amount of cheese processed in the sausage is remarkable. This is up to four times as much as usual. The flavours in the sausage are therefore even more intense and will keep real cheese lovers coming back for more.
