If you enjoy strong tasting sausages then our Fried Onion sausage is right up your street. The addition of fried Onions gives these sausages a stronger and more pronounced depth of taste, making them a particular favorite of Monsieur Saucisson. This is also the our only variety of sausage that contains gluten. All our other varieties of sausage are 100% gluten free!
Composition of Fried Onion sausage
The fried onion sausages are made from pork meat with some added herbs. With the extra addition of fried onions the sausages have a more robust flavor… Perfect for people who are looking for a full-bodied sausage. As with all our sausages, the outside can also be consumed. The outside layer is made of pork intestine. Completely natural and edible. The sausages weigh between 160 grams and 180 grams.
What is the ideal moment to eat these sausages?
The sausages can be eaten at many moments throughout the day, Breakfast, brunch or lunch. We think they really come into their own when having a drink at the end of the day. Perfect with a glass of wine and some olives or some cheese on the side. The sausages are not just for every day consumption but are popular as a small gift to family, friends or clients.
Allergies
All our sausages are 100% gluten free with the exception of our fried onion sausages. The sausages are not lactose free and all are sausages can contain traces of nuts.
How long will the sausages remain edible?
The sausages are edible for a minimum of 2 months. They are best kept out of the fridge in a dark, dry place. You could hang-up the sausages in your kitchen, pantry or cellar, check out our hanging display system. When sliced, the sausages remain good for 4 to 6 weeks.
