This delicious cheese is the most famous cheese from sunny Spain. The cheese comes from the “La Mancha region”. So it is a real Spanish paté. The pâté has a spicier and more pronounced flavour due to the manchego cheese, which is perfect if you are looking for something new. This Spanish Paté with Manchego cheese is delicious with drinks!
The classic method for making pâté is to grind the liver and mix it with other ingredients, including fat or bacon, after which it is cooked in an oven at a low temperature au bain-marie. The released fat then lies as a sealing layer on top of the pâté.
When do we eat this pâté?
This Spanish paté with Manchego cheese is suitable for every moment of the day. In the morning or afternoon on a slice of bread, or in the evening with a drink on a cracker, toast or piece of bread. Pâté is very nice to combine with a light, rustic red wine, or a somewhat sweeter white wine. This way the drink/food combination comes into its own.
All Monsieur Saucisson saucissons contain no gluten. With one exception: the fried onion sausage. The sausages are not lactose free. In addition, all sausages may contain traces of nuts.
How long and how do I keep the pâté?
